Used to disconnect the fuel line from the high pressure fuel pump that is driven by the mechanical connection to the intake camshaft.

***WARNING*** 

If the two little release tabs that stick out have been broken off the fuel line, The A1688 release pins are not long enough to depress the inner tabs. The only way to remove the fuel line at this point is to use two small screw drivers and depress on both sides of the fuel line at the same time to release the line from the pump. You must replace the fuel line at this point.

***Some 2010.5-2011 Models, You Need To Loosen The 14mm Flare Nut On The Fuel Rail Feed Line And Remove The Lower 8mm Fuel Pump Retaining Bolt To Use The Tool.***
