* These tools have been designed primarily to service Ford TDCi Duratorq (Puma) engines 

commonly found on Ford Mondeo, Ranger & Transit models (2.0L | 2.2L | 2.4L | 3.2L).  

These tools are needed to replace the front crankshaft oil seal, as well as removing the engine front cover.

* They also have application to Jaguar (X200 S Type) and Land Rover Defender (07MY).

* Crankshaft Front Oil Seal Tool (303-679A)

Designed to remove the front crankshaft oil seal.  Simply remove the front pulley, 

and use this tool to wind out the seal.  The new seal will have an internal seal lip protector.  

This should be left in place to position the seal over the crankshaft end without damaging the seal lip.

* This tool will also remove the diesel pump sprocket cover, to provide access to 

the pump sprocket without the need to remove the engine front cover.

* Engine Front Cover Aligner (303-682)

This tool is necessary to align the front camshaft chain cover when replacing the seal.  

The front cover does not have any alignment pins, and if not aligned correctly, the oil seal will 

quickly degrade.  This tool ensures that the front oil seal is centralized on the crankshaft.

* Use this tool on the end of the crankshaft to position the cover correctly, and to hold the cover 

in position while the cover fixings are put back in place.
